What SEOConversion does

SEOConversion is a hosted conversion tracker. You add one script tag to your site, and it records pageviews and the actions that matter: form submissions, phone and email clicks, sign-ups, checkouts and purchases.

Each conversion is credited to the channel and the landing page of the visit it came from. Organic search (Google, Bing and other engines) and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Copilot) are reported as two separate channels, instead of being mixed into “referral” or “direct” traffic.

Conversions are detected automatically after install, and each one can carry a value: the real order amount for a purchase, or an estimated value for a lead or a trial. The result is one report of what organic and AI search earn, page by page. See how it works and exactly what we collect.

What SEOConversion does not do

Being explicit about scope helps you pick the right tool. SEOConversion is not:

  • Keyword rank tracking. We report conversions at the landing-page level, because search engines no longer pass the search term to your site ("not provided").
  • AI visibility or brand-mention monitoring. We measure the visits and conversions AI assistants send you, not how often you are cited in their answers.
  • Paid-media attribution or ROAS reporting. Paid search and paid social are detected and kept separate so they never inflate organic results, but they are not what the product is built for.
  • A full GA4 replacement. It is designed to run alongside a general analytics tool, which keeps handling cross-channel reporting, while SEOConversion covers organic and AI search value.
  • Cross-device or multi-session user tracking. Tracking is cookieless and session-scoped by design, so a conversion is credited to the search session it happened in.

Our story

SEOConversion was built in August 2026 by Samy Thuillier, from SEO and AI search client work.

The problem was always the same. Rankings and traffic are easy to report; the conversions and revenue behind them are not. Answering that in GA4 takes custom events, a tag manager and exploration reports. AI assistant visits were also being misfiled as referral or direct traffic.

SEOConversion answers that one question with a one-line install, automatic conversion detection, and a dedicated AI search channel. The first version went live at seoconversion.co in August 2026.
