Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SEOConversion (“SEOConversion”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, and use our conversion-tracking service (the “Service”). SEOConversion is a first-party, cookieless analytics tool built to be privacy-first by design.

1. Two roles: our data and your visitors’ data

We act as a data controller for the account information of our own customers (the people who sign up and pay for SEOConversion). We act as a data processor for the analytics events we collect from your website visitors on your behalf — you, the site owner, decide what is tracked and remain the controller of that data. A plain-English summary of exactly what the tracker collects on your site is on our What we collect page.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your visitors’ analytics data to build cross-site profiles or for advertising.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), legal obligation (e.g. tax and accounting), and consent where required.

5. Sharing and subprocessors

We share information only with service providers that help us run SEOConversion, under contract and only as needed. These currently include payment processing (Stripe), database and application hosting, and email delivery. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Cookies

The SEOConversion tracker is cookieless. Our own website and dashboard use only strictly necessary cookies (for example, to keep you signed in). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal obligations. Analytics events are retained according to your plan and settings; you can archive or delete conversions and request deletion of your data at any time.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents where required.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. SEOConversion honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) signals. To exercise a right, reach us through our contact page.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.

13. Contact
